July 30, 1940 – june 19, 2026

Reba Dean Keith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reba Dean Keith, who left us on June 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Reba was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, residing in Cincinnati, Ohio, and she touched the lives of those around her with her warmth and homemade cooking.

Born on July 30, 1940, Reba was known for her incredible talent in the kitchen. Her specialty dishes, including her famous salmon patties, fried chicken, chicken liver, and fried pork chops, were staples at family gatherings, delighting everyone with their mouthwatering flavors. She was particularly known for her peanut butter and chocolate fudge, which became a cherished treat for many—a testament to her generous spirit and knack for cooking.

Reba was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family. She adored her daughter, Melissa Donathan (Daryl Cravens), and her grandchildren, Trevor (Tori), Jacob (Allie), and Ryan Donathan (Haley Compton), each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. The addition of several great-grandchildren—Millie, Tom, Tucker, Tripp, Calaina, Jayden, Ava, and Gia—only deepened her love for family and enriched her life. Her connections with them were a source of endless happiness and laughter.

Reba was a familiar face at the Red Squirrel, where she worked as a waitress, earning the title of “best waitress in Colerain” for her friendly demeanor and commitment to serving the community. She loved making new friends and forging connections with everyone she met.

Apart from her culinary delights and warm personality, Reba had a passion for reading, often losing herself in the thrilling pages of James Patterson novels. She also cherished her beloved dog, T-Bone, who had passed away prior to her own departure.

A Private service will be held to honor Reba’s memory.

Reba Dean Keith will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends who continue to cherish the memories they created together.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Burchie Johnson, her stepmother Erma Johnson, and her siblings, Betty, Dickie, Kenny, Nancy and Pleas. She was survived by her siblings, Jean, Patsy, Lucy, Leasha, Julie, Wayne, Willard, Dale, Don, Linda and Jim.
