Regina Kesterson (nee Mills), beloved wife of the late Marc J. Kesterson; devoted mother of the late David M. (Gail S.) Kesterson, Sharon K. (late Jerry) Bollen, Bonnie K. (Richard) Dietrich, Amy K. (Robert) Vaughan; loving grandmother of Heather Kesterson-Bollen and Christopher Bollen, Stephanie (David) Tomlinson and Kevin (Mindy) Kesterson; beloved great-grandmother of Kamryn, Avery, Kaitlyn, Madelyn; dear sister of the late Byron (Late Gloria) and the late Donald Mills, and sister in law of the late Bette Merenfield, William Norman and Malcom Kesterson caring aunt of Andrea and Bill Bunch, Eileen and Julia. Regina served as president of the Craft Shop of the Handicapped, chair of the Fantasy Ball, vice president of the first McAuley Mothers and Dads Club, and was on the boards of the Cincinnati Catholic Women’s Association, Xavier Booklovers, Summit Country Day Mothers Club and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was active in St. Margaret Mary PTA, St. John’s Social Service Center and Clovernook Country Club (where she made a hole in one!) Proud graduate of St. Ursula Academy and the University of Cincinnati. She loved cats and all animals, enjoyed mysteries and was a consummate host and cook. She was sharp as a tack and didn’t suffer fools. She could make anything, any object, even a walker, into a friend. Regina was determined to make it to 100, and she did. Visitation will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 West Galbraith Road, North College Hill, 45239 on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
