Paul Young Funeral Home is assisting the Family

Obituary via Paul Young Funeral Home

Dick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ruby Mae (nee Buck) and Carl Gross on December 7, 1931. He is the beloved husband of Christel J. Gross (nee Benjak); devoted father of the late Laura Jean Gross; cherished uncle of Terry (Rachele) McFarland, Ric (Shelley Goering) McFarland and Tracey Marshall.

Dick graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration and was in the Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. He faithfully served in the United States Air Force and was also an employee with Cincinnati Bell for decades. He and his wife were longtime members of Northwest Community Presbyterian Church. Dick had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs, and he’d be very pleased if donations were made in his memory to Best Friends or the SPCA of Cincinnati.

A visitation for Dick will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 10 am until time of service at 11 am in Mt. Healthy at Paul R. Young Funeral Home with burial at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
