Richard L. Ferrell, age 79, of Mt. Healthy, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026. He was born on December 8, 1946, to the late Clarence and Ellen (née Connick) Ferrell.

Richard was the beloved husband of Charmaine (née Price) Ferrell. He was a devoted father to Deana (David) Moss and Adam Ferrell, and a proud grandfather to Samantha and JD. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike Ferrell, David Ferrell, and Robert Ferrell. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Ferrell and Walter Ferrell.

Richard will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the love he shared with those around him. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 11:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
