Rita Mae Hoffman, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on May 5, 1932, in Cincinnati, OH, Rita dedicated her life to her family and the joy of homemaking, creating a nurturing environment for her loved ones.

Rita was a woman of many talents and interests. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her playful spirit and youthful heart were reflected in her love for the outdoors, where she enjoyed tending to her yard and taking long walks. In her younger years, she enjoyed reading countless library books.

Rita’s green thumb and love for nature were only matched by her enthusiasm for everyday activities, such as grocery shopping. She lived in her cherished home until she was 93 years old, embodying resilience and dedication in all aspects of her life.

She is survived by her loving children, Donna (Bennie) Foley, Lisa (Tim) O’Connor, and Thomas (Kim) Hoffman; grandchildren Jason (Terri) Foley, Christine O’Connor, Craig (Jennifer) O’Connor, and Megan (Evan) Jelley; great grandchildren, Ian, Oliver, James, Lincoln, Calvin, Remington, Nathan, Elise, and Rosalie.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hoffman, daughter, Linda Hoffman, parents William and Anna Amann, siblings, William Amann, Edward Amann, John (Hup) Amann, and Verna Hamilton.
