A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
Robert Eugene Lillie, known for his love of family, passion for hot wheels, and deep faith in the Lord, has passed away at the age of 77. Born on April 7, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bob made his mark as a dedicated truck driver in the logistics industry for over 44 years. He enjoyed working for Hazmat for twenty of those years.
Throughout his life, Bob cherished spending time with his children – Ann (Andy), Mary, and Bobby (Amy). He deeply loved and adored his grandchildren Maranda (Nathan), Mollie (Luke), Maggie (Cody) Brandon (Chelsea), Scott (Bethany), Samantha, and his great-grandchildren Cooper, Paxton, Nolan, Elijah, Annabelle, Ezra, Marley, Jayden, Noah, and Addison. Family was everything to Bob, and his love for them was truly unmatched. Most of Bob’s life was spent with Sandy aka Sackie his former wife, life long friend, and caregiver in his final years. He also loved his four-legged family, Moe, and Elgie.
He is also survived by his brothers, Fred, Russell (Donna), and Jimmy along with extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Clara Lillie, his sister Reva Lillie, and his brother Donald Lillie.
In his free time, Bob found joy in collecting hot wheels, his eyes lighting up whenever he added a new piece to his collection. He was known as “Hot Wheels Bob” by many. He loved all types of music, Christian, oldies, and country being his favorite. He really loved Jesus. His faith was a cornerstone of his being, guiding him through life’s ups and downs.
