Robert H. Cox

Robert H. Cox was born in Corn Creek, Kentucky on November 21, 1936, to Russell and Nellie Cox and died on August 15, 2026, at the age of 89.

Robert moved to Cincinnati, Ohio as a young man to obtain employment and here he met the love of his life, Pauline Cox (Phillips) and they were married for 61 years until her death on August 16, 2023. Robert had three daughters, Loretta Baker, and with his beautiful wife Pauline, Pamela Hennegan (Beach), and Teresa Cox-Benson.

Robert lived on the west side of Cincinnati for most of his life then resided at the Seasons of Alexandria in Alexandria KY, which became his home and where he was cared for by his amazing caregivers who made his last few years special and his final days more comfortable while also caring for his family during this difficult time. Robert was also cared for by St. Elizabeth Hospice for his last few years and all of the staff at the Seasons and St. Elizabeth became another family for him during his time of need.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Cox (Phillips), his parents, and also multiple siblings.

Robert is survived by his daughters Loretta Baker, Pamela Hennegan (Rick Hennegan), and Teresa Cox-Benson (Kirk Benson) also his grandchildren, Chris Baker, Chelsea HIntz (Bobby HIntz), Selena Schmit (Richard Rogers), Julie Beach (Brian Anderson), Madison Beach, Aleah Benson, and Kilee Benson. Also, great grandchildren Odin Anderson, Isla Anderson, and Harper HIntz.

Robert was a very hard worker, working well into his seventies, he worked for the Stock Yards in Cincinnati, Vulcan Oil, and for many years at Baxter Concrete Burial Vault Company. Robert also was a race car driver, racing dirt track stock cars for which he built his own cars and enjoyed doing so for many years.

He loved Nascar, country music, Cracker barrel and more than anything his family.

While Robert’s time on earth has ended, he will be reunited with his loving and beautiful wife Pauline where they will finally be together again.
