Robert Lee McMahan

Robert McMahan, age 75, passed away on July 3, 2023.

Bob was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Leslie McMahan and Florence McMahan (nee Wiggins). Bob married Linda Poettker of Cincinnati, Ohio on April 15, 1972.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda McMahan, his children, Robert (Tara) McMahan, Jr., and Douglas (Dionna) McMahan, his sister, Karen Davis, his grandchildren, Jaina Roberts, Amelia McMahan, Maxwell McMahan, DJ Harvey, and Destany Harvey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, James McMahan, Dennis McMahan, and Sue Rigsby.

Bob enjoyed adventures riding his motorcycles across the country. He worked for 32 years at Rohm and Haas and was proud of being able to complete his career at one location. However, it was after retirement that his passion for family became stronger. He loved spending quality time with his grandchildren, going on family vacations, family getaways to the mountains, and watching the Cincinnati Reds. He was a true fan of the Reds, watching the team whether they were winning or not. Bob’s greatest adventure on his Honda Shadow was over 7,000 miles in thirty days. He started on route 50 and kept rolling from Cincinnati to San Francisco, California.

Visitation will be held Friday July 14, 2023, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the red line to the left upon entering the memorial park).

Memorial Services for Robert McMahan will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Matt Holman, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Trinity.

A reception following the burial will be held at Landmark Baptist Church, 1600 Glendale Milford Road #1231, 45215.
