Roberta Lipka Landwehr Watson

Mrs. Roberta Lipka Landwehr Watson, age 93, passed away on September 23, 2023.

Roberta was born in Cincinnati, OH to George “Oscar” Lipka and Norma Lipka.

Roberta was a gourd artist and member of the American Gourd Society and the Ohio Gourd Society. She never knew a stranger and will be remembered for her welcoming smile. Roberta loved cruises where she met many new friends along the way.  Roberta was a dedicated Christian and a great organizer, who formed and led many groups, in churches she attended and elsewhere.

Roberta is survived by son Allan (wife Janet) Landwehr, sister Paula (husband Ronald) Mason, nieces Suzanne Rothhaar and Jori Bernat-Lipka Smith, nephew Tracey Lipka, grandchildren Lily Landwehr, Violet Landwehr, Vickie Burbrink, Jill Gritton, Tom Ammann, Julianne Hall, Tina Smith, Dianne Swift, Tracy Gatewood, Lee Hurt, Sherri Hurt, and Danny Hurt, and stepdaughters Jean Ammann, Rosalie Landwehr, and Joan Hurt.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Edwin Landwehr and James Watson, parents George “Oscar” Lipka and Norma, brother Ronald Lipka and his wife Sandra Lipka, brother-in-law Walter M. Jones, nephew Christopher Jones, stepdaughter Judy Gatewood, and great-granddaughter Riley Schon.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231- enter from Compton Road and follow blue line [to the LEFT] on road to Funeral Home). A memorial service for Mrs. Roberta Lipka Landwehr Watson will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerome Weaver officiating. *** Roberta requested that everyone wear some BRIGHT COLORS, as she wanted this to be a CELEBRATION of her arrival in Heaven!
