Ronald “Ron” Potter, age 63, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 8, 1959 to Clyde Mitchell Potter and Reba Waller (nee Harmon).
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Mitchell Potter; sister, Karen; and brother, Donald. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lynn Potter (nee Guthrie); mother, Reba Waller; daughters, Dawn (Anthony) Lawson, Deanne (Steven) Hahn and Denise (Seth) Bollinger; grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Kaile, Autumn, Julia, Taylor, Landen, Shannon, Dickie, Bella, Seth Jr., Abby, Amber, and Gunner; siblings, Bill, Tina, Michelle (Georgio), Elroy (Michelle), and Curtis; many nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Ron had a successful 22 year career at PLK Communities with Brixworth Apartments. In his free time he absolutely loved going camping, fishing, cooking, bowling, playing guitar, singing and sometimes dancing. He was also a fan of baseball and football, especially the Bengals. Ron was very family oriented, he especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
In loving memory of Ron, contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-9908.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
