Rose Marie Rieman-Case

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Rieman-Case, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 85.

Rose was born on December 12, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and devoted her life to serving her family, friends, and community with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

Rose enjoyed a successful career as a Realtor with RE/MAX, where her dedication, professionalism, and integrity earned the trust of countless clients. She was known for her keen insight and remarkable ability to understand people’s needs, helping many families find the perfect place to call home.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rose was a devoted mother to her three sons: Scott, Kenneth, and Darin Rieman. She took immense pride in supporting their passions, attending countless sporting events, and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Family was the cornerstone of Rose’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved.

Rose embraced life with enthusiasm and adventure. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing tennis, skydiving, snow skiing, and whitewater rafting, never passing up an opportunity for a new experience. Later in life, she found joy in playing bridge with her neighborhood friends and even looked forward to her regular trips to Costco. As a member of Kinder Velt of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, she generously gave her time and energy to support a cause that was close to her heart.

Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth R. Rieman; her parents, Amorino and Madelina Ornella; her daughter-in-law, Margaret A. Rieman; and her grandchildren, Danielle and Tyler Rieman.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Case; her sons, Kenneth (Kelley) Rieman, Scott (Anita) Rieman, and Darin (Patricia) Rieman; her sister, Rita (Dennis) Still; her niece, Michelle Still; and her nephew, Todd Still.

She is also survived by her stepchildren, Corinne (Michael) Dettmer, Christopher (Shannon) Case, Cheryl (Kevin) Stamper, and Charles (Jamie) Case.

Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren: Sydney (Alex Nance) Rieman, Kenny (Victoria) Rieman, Ryan (Meagan) Rieman, Madeline Rieman, Katherine (Alex) Immel, Alex (Emma) Rieman, Austin Rieman, Sarah Rieman, Raymond (Jenny) Dettmer, Reid (Susan) Dettmer, Reilly (Rebecca) Dettmer, Cullen Case, Maddie Rutz, Jack Rutz, Hailey (John) Kuchle, Ronnie Marksberry, Cora Case, and Conrad Case.

She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Eli, Ruby, Chase, Makennah, Mason, Marlee, Lucas, Reagan, Colt, and Kimber.

Rose will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 (follow the blue line).

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.

Inurnment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
