Ruth Muench (née McKenna), age 78, passed away on August 17, 2026. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 42 years, Gerald (Jerry) Muench. Ruth was the loving mother of Jennifer (Robert) McElfresh, Sherry (Justin) Aichele, and Jerry (Jennifer) Muench II; cherished grandmother of Kayla, Zachary, Jacob, Allie, and Paige; and dear sister of Tom and the late Jim.  Visitation will be held from 9:30–10:30 a.m., followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 21,2026 at St. John the Baptist Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45252. A processional to the cemetery will follow the Mass. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. Condolences may be shared at hodappfuneralhome.com.
