Ruth died on May 21, 2023 at the age of 93.  Mom to Mike Thomas (Theresa), Brad Thomas, Curt Thomas (Nancy), Meg Brinker (Ray).  13 Grandchildren, 29 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Clotilda Wullenweber, as well as, her siblings; Shirley Sharps, Carol Schilling, Stuart Wullenweber, Clyde Wullenweber, and Peggy Knabe and their spouses.  Survived by sister-in-law, Beverly Wullenweber.  Lost too early her beloved Grandson, Joshua Thomas and niece, Kim Wullenweber.  Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Baptized, confirmed and lifetime member at Grace Lutheran Church on Boudinot Ave. Actively involved with Westfed Food Pantry and Lutheran Braille Workers.

Graduated from Deaconess Nursing School in 1951.  Retired from Providence Hospital in 1994 where she worked from its inception. She really enjoyed mentoring and training other nurses and had many lifetime friends from her schooling and through her career.

Funeral service will be on June 2, 2023, 10:00 at Grace Lutheran Church. Graveside service for family immediately following at Arlington Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Westfed Food Pantry.
