It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Kneipp, who left this world on July 10, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sandra was a cherished daughter of the late George and Margaret (nee Black) Kneipp.

Sandy is survived by her devoted sister, Pam (Tom) Jaeger, and her adoring niece and nephew, Alison (Matt) Giese and Thomas (Tayler) Jaeger. She also took great joy in her role as a loving great-aunt to Layne, Jett, Josie, and Savannah, whose lives were brightened by her warmth and affection.

A devoted companion to her beloved cat, Ginger, Sandy cherished the quiet moments spent in their warm companionship. Family was the cornerstone of her life; her laughter and warmth will be missed by all who knew her.

Sandy’s spirit was vibrant and full of life. She found joy in her work with Trader Joe’s and Shipt and retired in 2023. She was a passionate advocate for her complete well-being, embracing exercise and dance classes at the YMCA, activities that not only kept her active but also allowed her to connect with her friends and the community. Walking was one of her simple pleasures, a time when she could reflect, breathe, and appreciate the beauty around her. She had a passion for gardening, delighting in the annual ritual of planting flowers and creating vibrant spaces filled with color. She adored nurturing her garden and feeding the birds.

As we celebrate Sandy’s life, we invite all who knew her to join us in honoring her memory. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Monday (July 20) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Matthew 25 Ministries or SPCA, organizations close to Sandy’s heart. Sandra Lee Kneipp will be dearly missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who loved her. May her memory be a blessing and a source of light in our lives.
