Obituary for Scherrie Anne Provenzano
(Covington, KY – Mason, OH)
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Scherrie Anne Provenzano, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on April 21, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 23, 1937, in Covington, Kentucky, Scherrie lived a life rich with love, adventure, and cherished memories.
As a devoted homemaker, Scherrie’s greatest joy came from nurturing her family. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Rusty) Fischer and Cynthia (Gregg) Enger, along with her grandchildren: Casey (Lauren) Fischer, Danielle Reynolds, Nicholas (Kristin) Enger, and Nathan Enger. Scherrie was also a proud great-grandmother to Ethan and Owen Reynolds, as well as Jackson and Bennett Fischer, who brought her immense joy and laughter.
Scherrie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Provenzano, and parents, Edward and Louella Due.
Scherrie was not just a homemaker; she was an antique dealer who cultivated a deep passion for collecting unique treasures that told stories of the past. Through her work, she formed lasting friendships within the antique community, sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge with others. She had an undeniable love for animals, particularly her loyal companion, Charlie, whose unconditional love mirrored her own.
Traveling brought Scherrie great happiness, as she ventured around the world, gathering experiences and memories that she would fondly share with her family. Her zest for life and adventure inspired those around her, making every gathering a celebration of love and laughter.
Cremation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In honor of Scherrie, memorial contributions can be made to Queen City Hospice at https://queencityhospice.com/donate/
In her memory, let us carry forward the love she so freely gave, cherishing the connections and experiences we share with one another.
Rest in peace, dear Scherrie. You will be missed but never forgotten.
