Sharon Sue Phelps

Sharon Sue Phelps

Phelps, Sharon Sue, d. July 3, 2026, Age 80, Cincinnati, Ohio

Beloved mother of Allisha Henry Curtis (Christopher), Amanda Henry Pietoso (Cristian), Alivia Henry Guenther (James), and Richard Phelps Henry (Sarah). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Chip), Elijah, and Harrison Curtis, Ilaria and Valentina Pietoso, Orion Henry and Ames Guenther. Sister of Linda Wallpe and Nancy Voss. Preceded in death by Richard Duval Henry and parents, Lewis Phelps and Martha Yancey Phelps.

Sharon lived a life defined by her steadfast faith in God. Her deep relationship with Jesus Christ was her constant source of peace, strength and resilience. She cherished her Sunday School friendships and loved to host bible study at her house.

She found tremendous joy in the art of quilting, leaving behind so many wonderful quilts to remember her by. She was always on the lookout for beautiful fabrics and patterns, and eager to take road trips with good friends to quilt shows and fabric shops. Each of her children and grandchildren are blessed to go to sleep every night under the weight of one of her treasured works of art pieced with a lifetime of memories.

She quietly devoted her life to caring for others. She had a successful career as a nurse that spanned nearly 40 years, but she also was known to open her home and heart to so many friends and family, sharing her gifts of compassion and comfort.

Yet Sharon’s greatest and most enduring legacy will always be that she was a deeply loving mother and grandmother. Motherhood was her greatest joy. She gave everything she had to her children and grandchildren, faithfully and unconditionally, until the end of her days.

Memorial visitation will be held at LifeSpring Christian Church, 1373 W. Galbraith Road (45231) on Saturday, July 25 from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM. Reception to follow.

Final resting place will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Matthew 25: Ministries at http://m25m.org/donate.
