Timothy Arthur Carver

Timothy Arthur Carver, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at his residence.

He earned a Masters of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering. Tim was an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Miami University, the University of Alabama, and long term faculty at Trine University in Indiana, the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State Technical College.

He was an avid reader with keen interest in history and research in cryptology and digital forensics. He loved to cook, play billiards and most of all, educate students in cybersecurity. Member National Cryptologic Museum Foundation, International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners and former Board of Directors of High Tech Crime Consortium. Tim received several Lilly Intellect Capital Grants for digital forensics lab work and was a speaker on bitcoin forensics, cryptology, and examination in espionage at several national Security Cryptologic History Symposiums.

Preceded in death by, parents, Arthur and Barbara Carver.

Survived by brother, Joseph (Ronda) Carver, nieces, Kathryn Carver  and Diana (Rick) Rodriguez, nephew, Daniel Carver.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM until services begin at 2:00 PM, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Enter the cemetery off Compton Road, turn LEFT inside Cemetery and follow the BLUE line painted on the road back to the funeral home.

Timothy will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens in a private family ceremony.
