Tommy Oaks

Mr. Tommy Oaks, age 68, passed away on November 22, 2022.

Tommy was born in Dryden, VA to Charles and Virginia Oaks. He married Penny Day and she preceded him in death in 2021. Tommy enjoyed gardening, watching movies, and discussing the finer points of the films.

Tommy was also preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles “CB” Oaks, sister, Charlcie Jean Ford.

Tommy is survived by his children, Tommy Oaks Jr., Angelique (Benjamin) Schlotthauer, Melissa (Chad) Buchert, grandchildren, Danielle Bolton, Nolan Bolton, great-grandchildren, Gabriel Sanchez, Gavin Bolton, siblings, Jimmy (Shirley) Oaks, Doris  (Walt) Bickel, Sherry (Marvin) Simpkins, Janelle (Donny) Albright and many extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2022, from  9:30 AM to 10:30 AM when the services will begin at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the blue line to the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
