Victoria (Vicki) Ann Stefl

Victoria (Vicki) Ann Stefl (nee Harmeyer, formerly Walker) passed away peacefully July 14, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Majestic Memory Care with kind hospice care from VITAS Healthcare.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Stefl, grandson Justin Walker and parents Charles Harmeyer and Vivian Ezell (nee Robinson).

She is survived by her son Christopher Allen Walker, her siblings Brenda (Charles) Morgan, Charles (Robin) Harmeyer, Beverly (David) Vannais, Bryan (Jane) Harmeyer, grandchildren Michael, Kristina, Brittany and great grandchildren: Christopher, John, Luke, Carson, Caleb, Noah, Asher, Cooper and Destiny as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Born on April 16, 1951, Vicki was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her son Christopher was born there and he was her lifelong joy. She worked as a cashier and later as Dining Room Manager for Red Lobster for many years.

Vicki moved to the Chicago area where she made many, many friends. Getting to dote on her grandchildren and great grandchildren with presents always gave her such pleasure (and coincidentally, she loved shopping, especially at Shipshewana). She enjoyed crafting and cross-stitched many beautiful pieces that she displayed and gave out as gifts.

Vicki was a radiant soul who always welcomed people with a smile which was perfect for her job at a Chicago area VA Clinic as a greeter. She made the veterans who came in feel at home and cherished the hundreds of lapel pins she received from them.

She finally achieved her goal of moving to Florida, ending up in Naples. Florida in 2014 with her husband Greg (who was one of those veterans she met at the clinic).

She will be dearly missed but her kindness, warmth and generosity will surely be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Vicki’s life on Friday, August 7th, 2026, at an 11:00 AM service at Wings Christian Fellowship, 4338 Tylersville Road, in West Chester Twp, OH 45011.
