William S. Heil, Jr., a beloved husband, father, and esteemed member of the automotive community, passed away on June 11, 2024. Born on February 13, 1937, in Cincinnati, OH, William was a dedicated mechanic employed by Cincinnati Bell and an Army veteran.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna Heil.

William’s legacy lives on through his beloved wife Ruth of 47 years and his children, Jeff, Michael, Richard, Christopher, and Teresa, his five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Throughout his life, William’s passion for antique cars shone brightly, leading him to become an active member of the Salty Dog Museum. His devotion to classic automobiles allowed him to connect with fellow enthusiasts and share his knowledge and love for these timeless vehicles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Spring Grove Funeral Home, Northwest, 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231. Graveside service will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens at 2:30 P.M.
