Gary Earl Dudley

Gary Earl Dudley, a beloved brother, uncle, and dedicated public servant, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on July 15, 1949, in Cincinnati, OH, Gary lived a life filled with passion, laughter, and a deep love for his family and community.

After proudly serving in the Navy, Gary became a police officer with the Cincinnati Police Department, where he committed over 30 years to protecting and serving his community. He continued his career with The Cincinnati Financial Corporation, following his first retirement. He cherished his career and found purpose in every day on the job. Beyond law enforcement, Gary was a devoted sports fan, passionately cheering for the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, and his favorite pastime, NASCAR.

Gary’s heart was mostly at home with family, especially during the holidays, with Christmas holding a special place in his heart. He adored being an uncle, creating countless memories filled with love and joy. Whether it was enjoying a meal at his favorite restaurant, The Werkhaus, or spending memorable vacations in Boston and Gatlinburg with family, Gary lived life to its fullest.

Gary is survived by his sisters, Donna (Larry) Rueve, Pamela (Matt) Manion, Diane (Tim) Weber, Vicki (Ken) Jones, and his brother Jack (Kelly) Dudley. He was fiercely protective of his family, always putting them first.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Dudley and Paula Dudley Biehl and his stepfather, James Biehl.
