Evelyn ‘Carole’ Cooper

Evelyn ‘Carole’ Cooper, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, peacefully passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 82, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 16, 1943, in Casey County, Kentucky, Carole lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family and community.

Carole found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passions were interior decorating, and floral arranging. She spent countless hours sewing and engaging in various crafts, delighting in the creative process as much as the finished products. Carole was known for her big heart and fun-loving spirit. She was an active member of a Saturday bowling league and a Tuesday racquetball club for many years. She loved a good yard sale, always had an eye for a bargain, and was incredibly proud of her family.

Carole is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William “Doug” Cooper; her daughter, Cherie (Jim) Hopper; as well as several cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren who are left with the wonderful memories of her warmth and creativity. Carole’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the family she so deeply loved.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Elsie (nee Myrtle) Baldock, and beloved son, Craig (Mary) Cooper.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line). A funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Burial will take place at 2:30pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
