Vivian Johnson passed away on the morning of May 6, 2026, at the incredible age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Johnson for over 60 years. Vivian is survived by her longtime, dear friend Troy Willingham; her nephews & niece Randy Thompson (Jessica), Drew Thompson (Bill Toth), Candace Jerew, and her two great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Klingman D. Brown and her beloved sister Penelope B Thompson. A lifelong Cincinnatian, Vivian graduated from the UC College of Arts & Sciences, where she performed in many theater productions. After graduating, she worked at Cincinnati’s own WLWT as an actress/TV presenter. She worked closely with her best friend Troy at Wellington Hall for many years. Later in life, Vivian greeted Kenwood Towne Center guests at the customer service desk with a beautiful smile. Every baseball season, she cheered on her Cincinnati Reds. Vivian had a passion for fashion, art, home design, and traveling the world with her husband Jimmy.
