Lezlie Ann Lindsey

With heavy hearts but also a spirit of celebration for a beautiful life lived, we announce that Lezlie (Sis) Ann Pilot Lindsey, age 65, of Cincinnati, OH, will be remembered and honored following her peaceful passing on August 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Lezlie was born on April 15, 1961, in Torrance, CA, to the late Mary Ethel and Marvin Pilot. Raised with love, she was the twin of her brother Leslie (Buzz) Pilot and shared a special bond that lasted a lifetime. On November 28, 1986, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Lindsey, and together they created a wonderful family that remained the center of Lezlie’s world.

She is survived by her devoted husband Bob, her cherished son Jacob and his wife Hannah, a twin brother Leslie (Buzz) and his wife Susan, as well as adored nephews Joseph (Ashley) and Adam (Jill) Pilot. Lezlie leaves behind an extended family that includes Uncle Richard Vaughn, Aunt Ester, and many dear cousins. She is deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lezlie was known for her warm smile and vibrant spirit, brightening every room she entered. A devoted employee of Kroger, she poured her heart into her work. Additionally, she was a longtime member of Asbury Tabernacle, where she shared her love for God through her joyous singing and unwavering faith. Her passion for life and her love for Jesus was evident to all who knew her.

To honor Lezlie’s remarkable life, her family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a series of services to celebrate her legacy. The visitation will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231, followed by a heartfelt funeral service at 11:00 AM. Immediately after, a graveside burial service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Join us as we gather to celebrate the life of a wonderful woman who brought joy, love, and light into our lives. Lezlie will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts.

Lezlie was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Pilot and her brother Barry Pilot.

“Such a sweet, wonderful woman. Always had such a beautiful smile. We sang together at Asbury Tabernacle many years ago. I know she was ready to go and ready to meet Jesus. She’ll definitely fit in good in Heaven!”

“Sis, you are my friend and I will miss for just a little while, we will sing together again forever! Heaven just became sweeter.”

“Robert & Jacob What a blessing that you had the honor of calling Lezlie wife and mother. She was truly and angel on loan from God. I don’t remember not one time in the last 20 years that she wasn’t smiling and saying awe bless your heart. She will truly be missed.”

“Aunt Sis you will be so missed here, but I know you are singing and dancing at the feet of our Lord. Thank you for your unwavering ability to love fiercely and not be shy about it. Your laugh is the one thing I will miss more than anything. I will love you and honor you always.”
