Sally J. Long

Sally Long, age 69, passed away on July 19, 2023.

Sally was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jack and Shirley Taylor. Sally married Bob Long of Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1974.

Sally is survived by husband Bob Long. Children; Zachary (Cecilia) Long, Katie (Ryan) Richter, Maggie Kollin and Amanda Long. Grandchildren; Jackson, Nathan, Ava, Bobby, Jacob, and Frankie. Siblings; Jackie (Bill) Hummel, and Barry (Kathy) Taylor and sister-in-law Pam (Mike) Rohrer.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sally was extremely involved with all four of her children’s activities growing up. Once her children had children of their own Sally enjoyed every second with her grandchildren and a special little girl, Olivia, caring for each of them as they have grown. 

Knights of Columbus was a big part of our families lives. Sally spent many summers at the yearly camp outs, holiday parties and especially trivia. Sally was a star trivia player, as she was extremely intelligent. 

Ladies’ nights with the women of Red Hat were most enjoyable for her. Sally also enjoyed gardening and had the most beautiful flower beds. 

Sally’s favorite place was Destin, Florida. She spent many winters there with the love of her life Bob and many friends. 

Visitation for Sally will be held Monday, July 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 follow the blue line to the left after you enter the cemetery gates)

Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 11: 00 AM at Saint Ann Catholic Church (2900 W Galbraith Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45239) with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
