Amelia “Amy” Plank

Amelia “Amy” Anna Simon Plank, age 73, passed away on August 4, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Amy was born on August 6, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Raymond and Mary Simon.  Amy married Cliff Plank on October 6, 1967.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great grandmother, Amy is survived by her husband, Cliff Plank, daughters Dawn Plank (Pamela Whitten), Renee Nolen (Bradley Nolen), sons Bradley Plank (Jamie) and Brian Plank (Becky).  Also survived by her sister, Cathie Barkley (nee Simon).  Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond, and Mary Simon and three brothers, Richard, Chuck and Sam Simon.  Survived by her twelve adored grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Cliff and Amy eloped and were married for 55 years.  Amy loved to be with her entire family, celebrating every occasion and rejoicing in their presence.  Strongly proud of her Lebanese heritage, Amy was a woman of strong faith; enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and listening to music. Some of her proudest moments were spent with her grandchildren who called her Sittee (grandma in Arabic).

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. (Follow the blue line to the funeral home, once you are on the cemetery grounds)

Funeral services for Amy Plank will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
