Anthony (Tony) Admiral Shiplett

Anthony (Tony) Admiral Shiplett, 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at home with family. Tony was born on Nov. 27, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Ambrose and Julia (Armbrust) Shiplett.

Tony grew up in Cheviot, Ohio, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He found his calling as the owner of Tony’s Barbering and Hair Design in Northside. Tony felt tremendous joy and thrived in his career, bringing happiness to many through his artistry and genuine connections with clients from all walks of life.

In 2003, Tony married his beloved wife, Juanita Shiplett. Together, they shared 22 wonderful years filled with love and laughter. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; his children, Sally (Mark), Todd (Angie), Peter (Ashley), and Adam (Rebekah); his stepchildren, Jeff (Stephanie), Melissa , Rhonda, and Robert Jr.; his grandchildren, Emma, Mark Anthony, Jacob, Reese, Avery, Vivian, Carly, Carter, Samantha, and Ivy; his great grandson, Leilan. His cherished brothers, Larry (Pam) and Patrick (May May). Tony will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Tony will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of Everlasting Life immediately following the service.
