Ardath Abel (nee Schneider) age 97 years, died on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Carl F. Abel for 63 years. Dear mother of Deborah (Kent) Smith, Mark (Rosemary) Abel and Suzanne (Dan) Burke. Loving grandmother of Lindsey (Bob) Dye, Robert (Anne-Marie) Smith and Kelsey (Aaron) Ataman; Elizabeth and Will Abel, Shane (Hannah) Burck, Kendall and Paige Burke and great grandmother of Charlotte Dye, Brady Dye, Riley Smith, Reagan Smith, Quinn Smith, Tripp Smith, Vivienne Ataman, Shoshanna Ataman and Jameson Burck. Dear sister of the late Aleen Nott. Cherished aunt of Gail Sterwerf and great aunt of Vanessa Brandley.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
