Bernard J. Heim

Bernard Heim, age 90, passed away on January 18, 2023.

Bernard was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to Joseph Bernard Heim and Elva Lee Heim. He married Patricia Murphy of North Bend, Ohio on September 27, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Bernard is survived by his children, Terri Heim, Michael (Melinda) Heim, Christopher Heim, and Scott (Michelle) Heim, his grandchildren, Jay Heim, Katie Heim, Trevor Heim, Cameron Heim, Megan Heim, Matthew Heim, his sister, JoAnn Wilzbach, and sister-in- law, Nancy Breeden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Patricia M. Heim to whom he was married to for 67 years.

Bernard’s favorite hobbies were flying his Cessna 172 Skyhawk, being the Voice of The Owls announcing Mt. Healthy sports for many years, and traveling the world with his wife.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park).

Services for Bernard J. Heim will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at a later date.
