A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
Billy Ray Allen, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 67. Born on August 2, 1958, in Cincinnati, Billy dedicated much of his life to his family and work, leaving a legacy filled with laughter and love.
Billy was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Army National Guard for four years. He was known in his community as a co-owner of Hensley Flooring, where he applied his skills as a jack of all trades. Billy’s friendly demeanor and go-with-the-flow attitude made it easy for him to connect with anyone he met. He possessed a unique ability to light up a room, and his infectious smile will be sorely missed.
In his free time, Billy found joy in a variety of leisure activities. He loved fishing, playing poker, and engaging in spirited games of cards and cornhole. Billy was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. Nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He took pride in cheering on his son, Billy Jr. (BJ), and grandson Cameron as they played baseball and softball, sharing moments that will forever be cherished.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Sandra Allen; son, Billy (Megan) Allen Jr.; sisters, Belinda Jones, Karen Allen; and brothers, Anthony (Linda) Allen, Wesley (Rose) Allen, Ray (Leslye) Allen, Daniel Allen, and Shelby Allen. He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Elijah, Siana, Gaven, Kaylee, Patience, Caden, and Cameron; as well as two great-grandchildren, River and Zayden, who adored their grandpa and was affectionately known by all as “Pops.”
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Vivian Allen.
A Celebration of Life for Billy will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line).
