It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonnie Elizabeth Mushrush, who left this world on December 6, 2024, in her beloved Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on November 15, 1952, Bonnie embraced a life rich with love, creativity, and a nurturing spirit that touched all who knew her.

Bonnie will be remembered for her 50 years of devoted marriage to her beloved husband, Leonard Mushrush. Together, they created a home filled with joy, support, and a passion for life. Bonnie’s talent as a florist was evident in her work at Penny Lane, where she found deep fulfillment in arranging beautiful blossoms, particularly her cherished violets. Her hands brought beauty to the world, and her heart brought warmth to those she loved.

Bonnie was a proud mother to her three children: Gustin (Angela) Mushrush, Colleen (Justin) Amrhein, and Christopher Mushrush. She experienced the profound joy of being a grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love for her grandchildren: Ian Mushrush, Jacob Mushrush, Jamie Mushrush, Trenton Mushrush, Ethan Middendorf, Alycia Carpenter, and Presley Harrison. Each grandchild carried a piece of her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Beyond her family, Bonnie found community and solace at Philippi Baptist Church in Mack, Ohio. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was deeply rooted in her beliefs.

As we reflect on Bonnie’s life, we celebrate her warmth, her laughter, and her unyielding love for her family and friends, as well as her fondness for her cat companions.

Visitation will be held at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE Line) on December 10, 2024, at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place that same evening at 7:00 pm, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance of Bonnie’s incredible life.

Graveside services will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 on December 11, 2024, beginning at 11:30 am, with all gathering at the AMG Family Gathering Area at 11:15 am.

As we bid farewell to Bonnie, we remember her spirit, her passion, and her unending devotion to her loved ones. She will be missed dearly but will continue to be a guiding presence in our hearts.
