Carol A. Kleinberg

July 2, 1947 – October 13, 2026

Carol A. Kleinberg

Carol A. Kleinberg, age 79, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 2, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Harold and Margaret Beesten. Carol was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, growing up on the west side of the city before graduating from Oak Hills High School with the Class of 1965.

On September 7, 1968, Carol married Thomas J. Kleinberg, the love of her life, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter over the past 58 years. Their bond was unbreakable, full of cherished memories and joyful moments.

Professionally, Carol dedicated many years as a legal secretary, contributing her skills and warmth to the field. But more than her career, it was her sense of humor and vibrant personality that truly shined. Carol had a knack for making everyone around her smile. Whether through her passion for fashion, always on the hunt for the perfect outfit or pair of shoes—or the joyful laughter shared during spirited games of Pinochle, bowling or while doing jazzercise she knew how to find joy in life’s little moments. Shopping trips with her beloved daughter, Kelly, were highlights filled with laughter and heartwarming conversations.

Above all, Carol loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her legacy will live on through her husband, Thomas; her daughter, Kelly (Jay) Freyler; her cherished grandson, Jayson Freyler; and her sister, Mary Jo Haegele. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Harold and Margaret, her brother Richard Beesten, and her brother-in-law, Robert Haegele.

Carol’s laughter and love will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we gather to honor her memory, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating her life at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will take place at the Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel (follow the Red Line upon entering the memorial park) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM. Services will end with a cryptside service at 1:00 PM.

In this time of reflection and remembrance, we hold onto the joy and love Carol brought into our lives. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
