Cheryl Elaine Snapp (nee Ferguson), devoted spouse of 58 years to James “Jim” Snapp, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, at the age of 77. Cheryl was the loving mother of Rick Snapp and Cindy (Shawn) Hall, and the cherished grandmother of Landon Hall. She was the dear sister of the late Bobby (Brenda) Ferguson, and a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Born to Juanell and Bob Ferguson, who preceded her in death, Cheryl was a caring and compassionate soul who would do anything for those she loved. Family was at the heart of everything Cheryl did, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened the lives of everyone around her.

A devoted member of her church, Cheryl loved Jesus and knew Him as her Lord and Savior. Her faith was central to her life, and she expressed her devotion in many ways, including helping in various areas of the church and teaching. Cheryl was also involved in the church choir, where she enjoyed singing and could sometimes be seen tapping her foot or dancing along to the hymns.

In her earlier years, Cheryl coached youth soccer and softball, making a lasting impact on many young lives. An avid sports fan, she especially loved the Cincinnati Reds and was often found cheering on her favorite local teams, the Bengals and FC Cincinnati. Cheryl’s passion for sports was boundless-if it was on TV, she was watching.

Cheryl’s love for her family, her faith, and her joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone around her, leaving behind a legacy that will be treasured forever.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Spring Grove Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Ave, Mt Healthy, OH 45231, with the service immediately following. Interment will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
