“Mama Robbie, I have to say it broke me from the day I heard about your illness. I promise I wanted to jump in and save the day, but you wouldn’t allow me to save the day because that’s what you did for me every time I saw your cheering on your boy Rel. I am going to miss you and that firecracker attitude of yours, and I thank you for embracing me and my son as family. God will have you sitting front row watching all the greats play baseball and I will try to mimic you when I watch my Robbie play. No one can make me laugh watching a game like you do!! We love you and heaven has gained a new Star xoxo ~Carla and Rel”
