Donald A. Barton

Donald A. Barton, a proud Cincinnatian born on February 5, 1932, is being remembered with love and admiration. On October 29, 2024, this proud Army veteran and industrial worker passed away at the age of 92 in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH.

Donald adored his family and found immense joy in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren excel in life. He took pleasure in caring for his yard, sharing travels with his devoted wife, JoAnn of 70 years, and cheering on his beloved Bengals and Reds from the comfort of his couch.

Though he may have preferred a Cadillac parked in his driveway, his memory will forever be parked in our hearts. He leaves cherished memories with his daughters, Donna (David Rechtin) Wood and Connie (the late Daniel) Argo, his grandchildren Lydia (Jonathan) Reeve, Lauren Bryant, Katie Argo, Emma (Zach Murdock) Argo, David Argo, and his son-in-love, Justin Ludwick. His passion for life with his great grandchildren Simon Reeve, Sarah Reeve, Anna Ludwick, and Andre Wood.

Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife JoAnn Barton.

Join us in celebrating the life of Donald A. Barton at the upcoming memorial events in his honor on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation at 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM. Service 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM.

Donald’s love for his family, his passion for caring for his yard, and his unwavering support for the Bengals and Reds will forever be cherished. In honor of his service to his country, a veteran of the Army, we bid farewell to Donald A. Barton, who now rests in peace.
