Donald “Don” R. Pabst, born on March 8, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2025. A devoted Design Draftsman, Don was known as a simple man who appreciated the little things in life, dedicating his career to his craft with sincerity and dedication.

Don fondly remembered his childhood days spent helping to make apple cider on his grandparents farm in Indiana. His love for family was evident, and those memories shaped the values he held dear throughout his life. He enjoyed the simple pleasures that came from spending time outdoors, including fishing and the joy of being surrounded by nature on the family farm in Dillsboro, Indiana.

A passionate car enthusiast, Don’s heart was always with Ford vehicles, and he found great enjoyment in watching Nascar races. He also cherished the times he spent at Price Hill Chili, and watching his favorite team, the Cincinnati Reds.

Don is survived by several living family members, including his cousins Carol Lovins, Richard (Diane) Smith, and Carol Smith, along with many special second cousins and extended family who deeply appreciated his presence in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his late parents, Raymond and Hazel (nee Knigga) Pabst, as well as his aunt Mildred Knigga, uncles Denton and Wilbur Knigga, and cousin Kenny Knigga. Their memories will always remain a significant part of Don’s legacy.

A visitation will be held on July 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, located at 1451 Ebenezer Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Don’s interment will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

His life, filled with simple joys and cherished memories, will be honored and remembered by all who knew him.
