Donald G. Ray

Don passed away on Monday, 16th October 2023 at the age of 92.

He was an avid musician, playing in the navy band as a Korean War veteran and in dance bands around the Cincinnati area. He lived in Maineville, Ohio for much of his later life. Don was a keen fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was dedicated to being involved in his family’s life and cherished the time he spent with his children.

Donald G. (Don) Ray- preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents Bert Ray and Carolyn (Motz) Payne and his brother Ron.

Don was a caring and devoted father of Gary (Martha) Ray, Ron (Anne) Ray, Donna (Tom) Pember and Tim (Rhonda) Ray; dear grandfather to Josh (Iggy), Stephanie (Karsten), Tiffany, Sarah, Rachel, Katie, Michael, Ryan and Stella; great grandfather to Torben, Embrik, Flynn and Priscilla.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2145 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231.) Family is to gather at the Family Gathering Area at 11:00 AM (Enter Cemetery and take left turn-stay on blue line- family gathering area will be marked with a sign) and will be escorted to the Graveside Service.

He will be dearly missed by his family.
