Dorothy “Dottie” May Christophel, age 82, of Ross, Ohio passed away at her home on June 7, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Martha (Willoughby) and Clyde Freeman. Dottie attended Venice Presbyterian Church and she was employed at Wendy’s in Ross for many years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Ralph Christophel II, Diana (the late Ron) Sizemore, Paul Morehouse, and Tony (Angi) Hughes; ten grandchildren, Dean, Deanna, Lacy, Desiree, Amanda, Joshua, Chrystal, Nicholas, Aaron, and the late Ronnie; many great grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde and Al; three sisters, Irene, Emma Jo, and Charlene. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Christophel; two brothers, Butch and Herman; and four sisters, Mary, Fran, Elsie, and Betty.

Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt.
