Earl “Bud” Marvin Rader, born on February 4, 1944, to Ernest and Bessie (née Brinegar) Rader, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, at the age of 81.
Bud was the beloved husband of Linda Rader, a devoted father to Jeffrey (Valerie) Rader, Stephen Rader, David Rader, Ranae Collett, and Michael (Tressa) Rader. He was a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren-Jacob, Elizabeth, Sara, Amanda, Josh, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Natalie, Lindsey, Allie, Justin, Sydney, Brittney, Austin, Kylie, Nathan, and Ethan-as well as a great-grandfather to 25 and a great-great-grandfather to three. He had the special honor of raising one of his great-grandchildren, Braylon. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Cody.
A cherished brother to Ernest Rader Jr., Shirley Irwin, and Betty Smith, Bud was known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was a proud member of the E.T. Carson Masonic Lodge, where he formed lifelong friendships and exemplified service and integrity.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bud’s life at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, followed by burial at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
Donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation in Bud’s memory.
