Glenn David Lewis

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Glenn Lewis, 91, of Wyoming, Ohio, on December 19, 2024. Born on August 16, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he married the late Barbara Jean on October 31, 1961. He graduated from Lockland High School in 1952 and attended Miami University where he was the mascot.


In addition to spending time with his grandchildren and collecting Native American artifacts, he could be found traveling with family to the Rocky Mountains, where Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons were his favorite destinations. Glenn enjoyed painting and writing. He was also very active with the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming for many years as well as the Wyoming Historical Society.


Glenn will be dearly missed by his sons, James Lewis, David (Tracy) Lewis, grandchildren Erin (Kyle) Petty, Adam Lewis, Katie Lewis, Jenny Lewis, great-granddaughter, Clara Petty.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Lewis, his parents William and Margaret Lewis, and brother, William Lewis.


Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th, 2024, at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231, from 12:30 pm until the funeral services begin at 1:30 pm. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, turn LEFT and follow the BLUE line to the funeral home.

Glenn will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Join us as we honor the remarkable life of Glenn Lewis and bid him a heartfelt farewell.
