Greg Reuscher

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gregory Allan Reuscher, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on January 25, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on July 24, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Greg lived a life rich with service, love, and dedication.

Greg proudly served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War for 21 months, a testament to his bravery and commitment to his country. Following his military service, he dedicated 25 years of his life to law enforcement as a police officer for the city of Springdale. Greg was a member of the FOP Lodge #74. His passion for helping others was evident in every aspect of his career and daily life.

Greg was a man of many talents who found solace and joy in the natural world. He loved landscaping and gardening, often losing himself in the serene rhythm of working outdoors. He cherished the peaceful moments spent fishing and the camaraderie of golfing with friends. A curious and adventurous spirit, Greg enjoyed traveling with his family – especially trips that brought him close to nature or allowed him to relax by the ocean. At home, he expressed his love for family through cooking, delighting family and friends with meals made from the heart. A thoughtful problem-solver, he also took pleasure in the challenge of crossword puzzles and trivia games. Greg was an avid fan of college football, proudly cheering on both The Ohio State University and the University of Tennessee. Above all, Greg relentlessly put others first. He was the dependable neighbor everyone could count on and never missed a chance to support his children and grandchildren, attending countless games, practices, and events. Greg will be remembered for his sharp wit, easy humor, and the laughter he brought to every gathering—always ready with a joke, as he liked to say, “I’ve got a million of ’em.”

Greg is survived by his devoted spouse of 37 years, Kimberly “Kim” Reuscher, and their sons, David Courtney and Zachary (Allison) Reuscher. He was a loving grandfather to Aidan Courtney, Ella Reuscher, and Brentley Reuscher. He is also survived by his brothers William (Mona), Roger (Deborah), and Rodney; as well as brother-in-law William Jennison. Greg was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth Reuscher, sister, Elizabeth Jennison, and son, William “Jason” Reuscher.

A celebration of life gathering for Greg will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line). A Fraternal Order of Police service will be held at 3:00pm during the celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Greg can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash by visiting https://hospiceofcincinnati.org/donate/.

As we gather to pay tribute to Greg, we invite those whose lives he touched to share their memories and celebrate a man who dedicated his life to serving others and spreading kindness. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
