Irene Emily Smith, 84, of Sycamore Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph Carl Smith and a caring mother to Diana (Howard) Hudson and Christine Thorman. Irene was a devoted grandmother to Cahla Thorman, Melanie Thorman, Paige Lemen, Jake Lemen, and Grant Lemen, and the proud great-grandmother of Liam and Logan.

Born on September 28, 1940, to the late George and Della Zimmers, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Kiewert. She graduated from Goshen High School in 1958 and spent her career as a dedicated retail bookkeeper. In her golden years, Irene enjoyed spending time with her family and staying active at the Blue Ash YMCA, where she was a member of the Silver Sneakers Club.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strawser Funeral Home, 9503 Kenwood Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
