Irvin “Bill” William Jones

Passed away July 13, 2023 at the age of 70.  He was born March 6, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Dorothy (Hall) Royalty and Irvin Bratfish. Surviving brothers and sisters, Harry Jones (Denise), Sharon Day (Terry), Victoria Mohr (James), Susan Greer (Bill Blakey), Richard Jones (Mary), Nita Beckman (Richard Hicks), Connie Cassini, and step brother Richard Royalty (Nickie). Also survived by Uncle Charlie Runtz and Uncle John Runtz (Vern).  He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Bill was a member of the Hamilton West Baptist Church. Bill loved his family.  Bill was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds, and loved arts, crafts and telling jokes.  He would often say, “I can’t wait until tomorrow because I get better looking every day.” Bill was a kind soul and a dear friend to all.

Graveside services will be held on August 18, 2023, 2:00pm at The Arlington Memorial Gardens 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231.  Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the BLUE/RED line to the FAMILY GATHERING AREA to wait for an escort to the grave.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arlington Memorial Gardens for the cost of Irvin (Bill) Jones’ care, by calling 513-521-7003 option 1.
