James R. Wagner, 63, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on September 30, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

James was born to Sally and Robert Wagner on March 28, 1963. He is preceded in death by his father, stepfather Lester Bunk, and his brother Thomas Wagner. He is survived by his devoted mother, Sally Bunk, as well as siblings including his twin brother, Jeffrey (Debbie) Wagner (West Chester, OH), Lori (Michael) Soriano (Lebanon, OH), Amy (Tony) Shelton (Bakersfield, CA), and Kathy (Andy) Butler (Union, KY). James will also be warmly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to RMS and their staff for providing a nurturing home for James over the years. A special thank you goes to the compassionate caregivers at Hospice of Cincinnati – Blue Ash, whose support brought comfort in his final days.

Funeral services for James will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. A visitation is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating James’s life and the love he shared.  His family encourages all who knew him to remember his gentle spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
