James Harrell loving and devoted son of the late William and Stella (nee Jones) Harrell. Dear brother of the late Larry (Agnes) Harrell and Agnes Ellis. Caring uncle of Karen (Steve) Thompson, Greg Harrell, Mike (Mary) Harrell, Tina (Don) Robinson and Ellen (Vincent) Rivers. Great-uncle of Caitlin Thompson, Jenna (Brendan) Bilski, Lauren (Drew) Miller, Kristen (Josh) Cummins and great-great-uncle of Blake and Rilynn Cummins, Rory Bilski and Eleanor Miller. Also survived by his very special dog Rose. Passed away August 8, 2026. Age 89. 

Uncle Jim first and foremost loved his mother deeply and was a devoted son. He found peace and community at Calvary Episcopal  Church, where he was an active member for many years. Jim received and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Cincinnati and his MBA from Xavier University. He was a certified management accountant for NuMaid Margarine. Jim cared deeply for all animals but shared a special loving bond with his dear dog, Rose. 

Visitation Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary Episcopal Church, 3766 Clifton Ave., Cinti., OH 45220. Burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church, 3766 Clifton Ave., Cinti., OH 45220 or the SPCA Cincinnati, 11900 Conrey Rd., Cinti., OH 45249.
