A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Lynn Cordray, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jamie, born on August 14, 1967, in Covington, Kentucky, departed this world on September 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Jamie dedicated her professional life as a secretary at the Disabled American Veterans, where she served with grace and commitment. Yet, her greatest joy came from her cherished family. She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Cordray Jr.; her mother, Paula Hurst; and her three sons, Justin (Kylee), Jeremy (Tiffany), and Bobby (Michelle Campbell) Cordray III. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren: Cayden, Ryder, Wyatt, Justin Jr., Talon, Wes, and Kalyn Cordray. Jamie also leaves behind her dear brother, Chris Hurst, and sister, Leslie Stephens.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hurst.
Family gatherings were the highlight of Jamie’s life, often spent poolside with laughter and joy. Her favorite color, purple, always adorned her space, reflecting her vibrant spirit. One of her cherished dreams was to visit the ocean, a wish that her family was proud to fulfill, creating precious memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
A Graveside service will be held in her honor at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, 45231, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:30 AM in the Garden of Meditation.
Procession to the Graveside will begin from the Garden of Friendship parking lot (turn right after entering memorial park).
Jamie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she poured into every moment spent with her family. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.

“Jamie always had the greatest Laugh on the planet. She was full of Joy. She was a Great cook as well. Always welcoming, even when all the kids, hers, ours and whoever else was there, she made it a great time. Sad for all of us, but she is waiting for the Homecoming!!”
