Janet F. Cox (nee Willis). Devoted mother of Kenneth W. (Cathy) Cox Jr. and the late Mark D. Cox; loving grandmother (Gram) of Elizabeth (Darren) Murphy and Stephen W. Cox; great grandmother of Isabelle F. Cox, Rylan M. Cox, Arlo H. Murphy, Charlee D. Murphy and Atreus M. Murphy; aunt to Deborah (Richard) Rust, Janet F. Higdon, Elmer Lee M. Higdon and Andrew R. White, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025.

She was born September 3, 1942 to the late Gernie S. And Vivian I. Willis in Alva, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her son Mark D. Cox, sisters Dorothy A. Higdon and Betty J. Willis and brother in law Elmer Higdon.

Janet was an avid reader, dog lover, and bird watcher. Janet spent many years of her life devoted to surgery centers around Cincinnati. She is survived by many, many friends as her kind spirit
touched everyone around her.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 6 to 8 PM at the Paul R.Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt.Healthy, OH 45231. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 12th at 10:30 AM at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Chapel, 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231.Entombment will take place after the funeral service at the cemetery.
