Schuerman, Janey Lee, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, in West Chester, Ohio. Born October 27, 1948, Janey was known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family.
Janey graduated from Oak Hills High School and dedicated over two decades of her career to US Bank. She found spiritual solace and community at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was an active member.
She was a culinary enthusiast, often spending hours in the kitchen, crafting meals that brought her family together. Her favorite pastimes were traveling, crocheting, playing backgammon, gambling, and enjoying a good glass of wine. Janey’s zest for life and her infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janey is survived by her children, Jill (Mike) Moran and Matt (Katie) Schuerman; grandchildren, Austin and Mason Moran, Jordan Schuerman (Anthony Webb), and great-grandchild Koa Webb; her beloved dog, Buddy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Schuerman; brothers, Daniel and Robert Bruce; and her parents, Phyllis (Millson) and Karl Johnston.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8th from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3450 Lumardo Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Burial services will follow at The Arlington Memorial Gardens located at 2145 Compton Rd Cincinnati, Ohio.
After burial services, the family requests your presence at Trinity Hall located within Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a reception luncheon to come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Janey Schuerman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice, or enjoy a day at your local casino in Janey’s memory.
