Jerry is survived by son Jeffrey (Julie) Daiker, son Andrew (Jess Novesteras) Daiker and granddaughters Katherine Daiker and Megan Daiker. He also leaves behind brothers Kenneth (Lan) Daiker, Roger (Mary) Daiker, sister-in-law Lois Daiker, brother-in-law Mark Roden, nieces Barb (Andrean Lynch) Daiker, Beth (Shelton) Plamondon, Kera (Jeff) Everett, Kylie (Jerry) Allensworth and nephew David (Jen) Daiker. Jerry was preceded in death by the love of his life Marilyn (Carroll) Daiker, his mother Hilda (Mack) Daiker, father Frederick C. Daiker, his brother James Daiker, brother-in-law Willis D. Carroll and sister-in-law Renita (Poland) Roden.
Jerry was born in Cincinnati on November 4, 1944. He was a hardworking engineer for P&G and P&G projects, among others, taking the family to many different places around North America including Missouri, Ontario, Indiana, Maine, Texas, California, Kentucky and of course Cincinnati. Nothing was more important to Jerry than family. This was very much on display at his 80th birthday party and recent visits from out-of-town nieces that lit up his face and his heart. A close second for Jerry was music and singing barbershop in choruses and quartets. He loved his time with the Delta Kings in Cincinnati, becoming assistant director for a time, as well as the Thoroughbreds in Louisville, and anywhere else harmonies could be heard.
