Jimmy Rae Young, beloved husband of 33 years of Gilda Branson Young, loving father of Michael Ryan Young (Sara Koenig Young). Also survived by James Young, Jennifer Kopec, Julie Palmer and their families, brother-in-law Donald (Chris) Branson, nephews Andrew Branson and Jonathan Branson, cousins Craig (Vicki) McClung and Richard (Patty) Branson and family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Ray Smith and Juanita Young. Passed away with his family by his side on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the age of 78.  Jim served in the United States Air Force prior to working 37 years for CSX Transportation retiring in 2005.  He loved spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, and fishing and hunting with his brother-in-law.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Springdale Church of the Nazarene, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial and lunch to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
